I'm also kind of into working out lately, I need to shed a few pounds for my friends upcoming debut. I'm going to be included in her 18 candles.
Anyway, college is really stressing me out. It's beating up the shit out of me. I'm also having this interest in music and I want to re-learn how to play the guitar. Inspired by Somedaydream i guess? I'm also getting addicted to temple run and I'm starting to wear skirts to school! LOL. Before, I only get wear skirts when I have to attend my JRP classes. I'm trying to be a girl now.
What else? I've been reading books too, cause I have too! Hahaha! I'm taking up AB-Literature at de la Salle University-Manila. Along with that is me trying to commute every single day!
I've been trying really hard to catch up with my high school friends since they go to different schools.
I started blogging five years ago, when I entered high school. San Beda College-Rizal taught me a sense that I never knew I had. Honestly, I didn't have this deep passion in writing back then. Due to globalization and a lot of websites are being opened for people to be able to gain more friends and express themselves through blogs. I'm lucky enough to be a part of this generation.
La Salle is really different from San Beda. I'm not comparing the two schools, that's like comparing your family to another family. Being in La Salle is like seeing reality. The reality that there are certain people who are not in your social class and you have to deal with each and everyone of them. College is actually the time for me to adjust into a new environment.
Going back to my previous school, I actually miss being in San Beda. One thing San Beda had instill in our minds is "Ut In Omnibus Glorificetur Dei". It's a latin phrase that mean God may be glorified in all things. Along with it is a short latin prayer that can be found at the back of the medal of saint Benedict. It goes like this:
Non Draco Sit Mihi Dux
Vade Retro, Satana!
Nunquam Suade Mihi Vana.
Sunt Mala Quae Libas
Ipse Venena Bibas.
In English, it means:
Let not the dragon be my guide.
Be gone, Satan!
Suggest not vain things to me.
Evil is the cup thou offerest;
Drink thou thine own poison.
It's a prayer that tells us to stay away from evil and that God is always with us, we just have to extend our hand to him. It's like brainwashing us, but in a good way.
It's really sad that San Beda College-Rizal already has a different principal (they changed administration, politically speaking) . It's more fun when a priest is running your school!
That's about it. I just killed time, by blogging about my personal life. I also have my Psychology exam tomorrow.
