My laptop still has virus in it but it's working pretty well at the moment! I'm really thankful that my CD-ROM is not busted, sigh of relief. But I'm still planning to buy a MacBook Pro, even if I get a lot of bad feed backs. They're all just hating!
I uploaded three of the pictures I took. All of them were taken last year or the year before that. I've taken a lot of picture this year but I'm too lazy to put watermarks and dates on them. I do have time for those things but I'd rather go outside and have a social life than stay at home in front of the computer. I don't want to waste precious energy on something that is not as important.
We just had our second to the last NSTP-CWTS exposure and it's useless to go there because we weren't doing anything. This class is useless to me. It's a waste of time. It's also not my concept of charity work.
I also woke up late earlier, it's really funny. I woke up at six in the morning and left the house a quarter past six. It only took me fifteen minutes to prepare. As soon as I wake up and found out it was already 6 am, I rushed to the bathroom: Brushed my teeth and took a bath. I didn't prepare my things the night before so I wore whatever I saw first and hurriedly put everything inside my backpack. I arrived at Harrison Plaza at around 7am, I wasn't late.
Basically this class taught me four things, and I'm gonna blog about it! I don't care how insensitive this post might get or how boring it is.
  1. Never go to class early. The jeep never leaves at exactly 7am. It waits for all the students to arrive and as soon as everyone is there, you have to wait for an extra 20 minutes because some people are in the comfort room and some of them are buying their breakfast. At some point, it's also a good thing because we have to spend less time in the community.
  2. It doesn't define how charitable you are. The fact that it's required and we're just being forced to go there is more that enough reason for me to say that it doesn't define how charitable we are.
  3. Sari-sari stores sell over-priced items. Just because we're from La Salle that doesn't mean we're rich! A bag of chips that is being sold in the grocery store for four fucking pesos is being sold there for ten pesos. Since we're all starving and that's the only safe thing that's being sold there we have no choice but to buy it.
  4. Always have your music player and earphones with you. Some of your classmates are irritating and it's not nice to listen to all their trash talks about their other friends. The perks of having socialites as your classmates.
