It has been a year now since I entered the gates of De La Salle University-Manila. I do not know how to describe my entire stay but I do know that I'm really happy because I've met a couple of people who made a huge impact in my life.
At first it was really hard for me to adjust to my new environment. I used to go to San Beda College Rizal Campus back in high school and as some of you may know, it used to be an all boys school when it was still in Manila but they started accepting girls when they transferred in Rizal.
In a class of 32 students there were only 7-10 girls and the rest are boys. This means I'm not used to seeing a lot of girls in school and I'm used to hanging out with guys.
When I entered college, I was shocked with the number of girls in the university and It's a challenge for me to cope up with the system.
College has been a roller coaster ride for me and to tell you honestly, I still miss high school. College is a whole new place. It's very different, if you ask me. The past three terms has been so amazing and I thank the Lord for everything!
Now it's official that I'm no longer a freshman! Or as la salle people refer to it, Frosh. I'm no longer one! Oh, yes! Also, my third term grades were released earlier! I wasn't really expecting "good" grades because I thought I was gonna fail my TREDONE class but law and behold my Third term grade! (look down)
I also wanted to know my GPA for this term so I used a Facebook application that Lasallians usually use to find out what their GPAs are. I found out I'm a Dean's Lister this term! Words cannot express how happy I am or how happy I should be because of it! It still hasn't sink-in, honestly.
This day is not boring after all. (P.S. It's my first time to be a Dean's Lister!)
